ABOUT NICOLE.

ABOUT NICOLE.

Through her work experience and education as a psychologist and business woman, Nicole has developed unique skills that have propelled her into the role of one of the rising stars in the business and corporate coaching and consultation field. Before opening her private practice, Nicole had worked as a corporate trainer in a fortune 50 company, a senior consultant for a consulting firm and in a leadership position for a not-for-profit organization, while teaching as an adjunct professor of psychology and forensics at Philadelphia University.

Once Nicole was satisfied that she understood the inner dynamics of the administrative, financial and the human resource components of corporate America, her entrepreneurial sprit led her to open her first private practice. Within a year, it grew into the well known Philadelphia group practice, Equilibria Psychological and Consultation Services, LLC. Within two years, Nicole opened Equilibria Kids and Equilibria Coaching.

Through her collected corporate work experience in conjunction with her education, years of teaching and consulting as well as treating and coaching clients on the couch, in group settings and in the business world, Nicole had developed a keen sense for helping both individuals and the workplace as a whole operate at their most effective levels. Realizing this proficiency, Nicole sought out and received additional coaching training from the industry-leading College of Executive Coaching. In her capacity as an executive coach and business consultant, she maximizes both the symbiotic nature of the workplace as well as each individual’s greatest assets while integrating them to produce peak performance personally, professionally and organizationally.

As a member of “Gen X” Nicole has observed, taught, worked among, coached and treated many of the next generation’s leaders, the “Gen Ys” as well as those that manage them. This, in conjunction with her extensive research for the book Y in the Workplace: managing the “me first” generation, has given her a unique perspective on the strengths and weaknesses of this extraordinary group. Through her work as a business and corporate coach and consultant, Nicole has developed an aptitude for teaching others to extract the unique talents of this generation while helping them integrate and gain acceptance in cross generational workplace environments.

Nicole received her doctorate in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) at the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University, her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the School of Business Administration at Widener University and her Master of Criminal Justice at Widener University. Nicole received her Bachelor degree in Dance and Psychology at Skidmore College. She is licensed as a psychologist in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Nicole is the President-Elect of Philadelphia Society of Clinical Psychologists and is a member of the International Coaching Federation, American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association and a Registrant of the National Register of Psychologists.
